Cast Iron Skillet Pizza – this weeks obsession

Use room temp dough
If you spread out the dough and it shrinks, it is not ready. The dough when spread out should hold its shape. Use a little olive oil when shaping. Press dough from middle outward to help shape a crust.
Pre heat oven to 475 . Once oven is preheated, heat skillet, use olive oil to lightly grease the pan (bottom and sides). Once the skillet is heated, place the dough I to the pan. Work quickly to adjust the dough in the skillet.
Ingredients used for classic spicy pepperoni:
Thinly sliced pepperoni and sopresseta
Low moisture mozzarella
Marinara
Spicy Meat Pizza
Season dough (oregano, salt)
Spread mozzarella
Place meats
Add sauce
Bake for 8-9 min
Broil for 2-3 min
Once removed from oven, immediately transfer to cutting board
Lightly drizzle with honey and sprinkle red pepper flakes to taste

Balsamic vinegar
Thinly sliced prosciutto
Season dough (salt)
Spread fig
Spread mozzarella
Place meat
Bake for 8-9 min
Broil for 2-3 min
Once removed from oven, immediately transfer to cutting board
Place arugula
Lightly drizzle with balsamic
